A cold front is approaching the Alps from the north-west and will move across South Tyrol during the course of the day.

It will be mainly sunny in the morning, with a few clouds in the north. In the afternoon, with the front there will be widespread showers and thunderstorms. At the same time, gusty northerly winds will pick up.

Temperatures are falling, with maximum temperatures ranging from 23° in the Wipptal to 31° in the Unterland.

Wednesday will continue with plenty of sunshine, while the risk of thunderstorms will increase slightly in the second half of the day. Thursday will be unstable. Clouds will predominate and there will be rain showers and thunderstorms. Friday will also remain unsettled, with a mix of sunshine, clouds and rain showers.
